The Chronomat was first introduced in 1984, bravely going against the trend of the day for extra-thin quartz timepieces, and instead presenting a robust, impressively proportioned mechanical watch.

And it’s a risk that paid off – the model proved a popular celebration of Breitling’s centenary and hailed the return of the mechanical chronograph to prominence.

The Super Chronomat is the boldest model in this collection, featuring ceramic inserts on the bezel, chronograph pushers, and crown, alongside a Rouleaux-inspired rubber strap for an enhanced sense of style.

Boasting a sophisticated sense of style, this Chronomat timepiece showcases a bold black dial with three chronograph sub-dials, a date display, and a vibrant red seconds hand.

The 44mm 18K red gold and stainless steel case is presented on a Rouleaux-inspired black rubber strap, while power and precision are delivered by the Breitling 01 calibre movement.

Water resistance to 20 bar (200 metres) and a 70-hour power reserve further enhance performance.
