In the 1960s, scuba diving was a new and exciting pursuit that took the world of water sports by storm. Breitling launched the Slow Motion model to give divers the most clear-cut diving watch, eliminating any feature that didn’t support their lifesaving needs underwater.

The new Superocean pays homage to the Slow Motion’s design codes – clean lines, chunky luminescent indexes, and a high-contrast dial ring – with the addition of modern features such as a ceramic-inlayed bezel and brightly colours dials. Nostalgia gets a fresh new look.

Exclusively available in the UK, this pared-back watch is presented in a 46mm stainless steel case.

Framed by a bi-directional bezel with a patented bezel lock, the vibrant dial features the brand’s iconic yellow, as well as broad hands and luminescent indexes to ensure easy readability underwater.

Designed for water-sports enthusiasts, the black rubber strap fastens with a folding clasp that allows for micro-adjustments of up to 15mm for easy wear over wetsuits. This high performance timepiece is also water resistant to 30 bar (300 metres), as well as being shock, sand, and saltwater resistant.

The Breitling 17 self-winding mechanical movement ensures flawless precision and is equipped with a 38-hour power reserve. This timepiece is also limited to 500 pieces.
